Cadenze, riscaldamento, partiture per rullante e drumline. Una Cadenza (cadence) è “una sezione di improvvisazione il cui scopo principale è quello di dare ai cantanti e musicisti la possibilità di esibire la loro abilità tecnica e la loro capacità di improvvisare. Dal 19mo secolo i compositori hanno iniziato a scrivere le cadenze, piuttosto che lasciarle all’improvvisazione degli esecutori, facendole diventare un elemento definito e fondamentale della partitura”.
