Da lunedì scorso sulla Hollywood Walk of Fame è possibile camminare anche sulla stella del ‘nostro’ Ringo Starr. Era l’unico Beatle a cui mancava di farsi calpestare sulla strada delle celebrità e, per noi, è un’occasione per ricordare alcune cose sul batterista forse più famoso e discusso del mondo.

Un tizio che passa dalle stalle di ‘the luckiest no talented guy in the world’ alle stelle del ‘più grande batterista del mondo’, a seconda di come lo vedono detrattori e ammiratori. Noi, lo diciamo subito, stiamo verso la metà dell’ammirazione.

Sentite cosa ne dice Stewart Copeland: ‘Ringo is the leader in the education for all young drummers of style over flash, always playing the right things rather than a lot of things’.
