The new standard and special sets of Yamaha DTXpress IV are everywhere in the news sites, with good reviews. I think the special set is a good compromise for an entry-professional set not too much expensive: you can buy it for more or less 1500$ / 1200€ (DTXstreme serie is definitely more expensive).
But, even if you are not interested in an electronic drums there’s a file that can be downloaded for free from Yamaha Drums site: the DTXPRESS IV DRUM SCORE, a 3.5mb pdf file full of grooves and feels transcribed. Good for reading and play, even if you don’t have the kit
